Long-Gap Esophageal Atresia Program

Boston Children’s Hospital is a leader in the care of infants born with long-gap esophageal atresia. The surgical team cares for babies born near and far to help repair the esophagus and restore function.

Center for Healthy Infant Lung Development (CHILD)

The Center for Healthy Infant Lung Development cares for infants with chronic lung disease (CLD), the most common long-term health problem for preterm infants. Part of Pulmonary Medicine, the CHILD team provides management of respiratory symptoms, home oxygen therapy, and medications. The team also includes a registered dietician to help support optimal growth.

Medical genetics

The Genetics team at Boston Children’s helps diagnose and manage problems related to congenital syndromes. They provide care in the hospital and in an outpatient clinic.
