I knew I wanted to be a social worker when I was 15 years old. I attended Clark University in Worcester, MA and graduated with a psych major in 2012. While studying at Clark University, I was an intern for the Department of Children and Families in Worcester.

I knew that I needed a Masters in Social Work to have the kind of career that I wanted, so I went to Wheelock College for my masters. I completed my Masters in Social Work at Wheelock College in 2014. I was a social work intern here in the BCH NICU from 2013 - 2014 which was an amazing experience. I was offered this job when I gradated in 2014. I truly love what I do. The families that I meet amaze me everyday and I feel very lucky to be in this role.

I believe that everyone deserves to have someone in their corner, fighting for them. I became a social worker because I wanted to fight for those who couldn't fight themselves. I became a social worker because I wanted to help people reach their full potential, no matter what that may look like.
