Haining Laboratory Research | Overview

The Haining Laboratory uses integrative genomic approaches to study T cell immunity in humans. Our goal is to understand how functional memory T cells are formed, and why protective T cell immunity fails to develop against chronic viral infection and cancer. Projects in the lab use genomic tools to classify the differentiation state of antigen-specific T cells, and genetic and chemical screens to understand how T cell differentiation is regulated.
