About Comfort Ability® Program online health chats

The Comfort Ability® Program offers monthly online health chats for kids and teens with recurring functional symptoms such as chronic pain (nerve, muscle or joint pain, headaches, abdominal pain, etc.), nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and muscle weakness, as well as their parents or caregivers. The chats are a safe place for individuals who share a common condition to ask questions, discuss concerns and offer each other support.

The health chats are moderated by a pediatric psychologist from the Comfort Ability® Program and a member of our Advisory Boards (peer or parent). The goal of the chats is to provide social support and discuss coping tips and techniques. The moderators do not offer specific medical or psychological advice.

If you’re interested in participating in an upcoming chat, please click on the link below. Children under the age of 13 require a parent to register for the chat.
