Research Overview

Roger Nuss' research interests focus upon pediatric laryngology and voice disorders. Currently, he is developing grading scales to describe vocal fold nodules in children, and studying the long-term outcomes of children with vocal fold nodules. Additional research interests include management of vocal fold immobility and airway scarring. 

Research Background

Roger Nuss received a BS degree in Engineering from Swarthmore College, and his MD degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed an internship in Surgery at University of Massachusetts Medical School, a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Childrens Hospital Boston. He is active on staff at Childrens Hospital Boston, directs the Voice Clinic and co-directs the Velopharygneal Dysfunction Clinic.
