Dr. Maria Bernardez brings a friendly, youthful vitality to "her kids" and has a delightful "bedside manner". Her training and experience include child psychology and behavioral health issues. She is always willing to explain the pros and cons of any procedure or medication, and to take the time to answer any questions you may have.
Dr. Bernardez completed her residency in the Bronx at St. Barnabas Hospital and also trained at Columbia Presbyterian, Cornell, and Sloan Kettering hospitals. She worked at a large medical group in the Hudson Valley for several years, and before that she worked in the greater Hartford Connecticut area, serving a private practice and three hospitals.
