Jacob R. Brodsky | Professional History

Dr. Jacob Brodsky joined the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement at Boston Children’s Hospital following his fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology in 2012.Although experienced in all facets of Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Brodsky’s primary area of clinical expertise is in the medical and surgical management of pediatric middle and inner ear disease, including hearing loss, congenital ossicular anomalies, cholesteatoma, and chronic otitis media. He is trained in endoscopic ear surgery (EES), which allows most ear surgeries to be performed entirely through the ear canal in a minimally invasive fashion with less pain and a quicker recovery than traditional, microscope-based ear surgery.

Dr. Brodsky is also an expert on the management of pediatric vestibular and balance disorders. He directs the Balance and Vestibular Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, which was one of the first and remains one of the largest dedicated pediatric vestibular programs in the world.
