Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research | Overview

 

The mission of the Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research (CeASAR) at Boston Children's Hospital is to be the leading source of new discoveries in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of substance-related disorders in children and adolescents.

John R. Knight, MD, established CeASAR in 1999. The center conducts research, teaching and training in the field of adolescent substance abuse, and provides clinical services through Boston Children's Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (ASAP).
